When Men’s Journal first shopped the sale in search of the best options, it became clear how easy it is to get lost in endless scrolling, even with the product filters. Instead, target what you want based on these categories: sandals, running shoes, casual shoes, boots, and dress shoes. MJ went a step further and pulled out all the best men’s shoe deals we could find during the Amazon Prime Day event so you can spend extra time browsing for a new pair of shades or a watch to complement your new kicks. As silly as they might appear, the Bronax Pillow Slippers have been scorching hot sellers on Amazon. Used as an inside-only shoe, a being-in-the-yard shoe, and for whatever else, these ultra-lightweight, unisex sandals have garnered over 36,000 mostly five-star ratings. Grab a pair for your spouse as well for extra brownie points.

Adidas Adissage Slides Sandals, $26 (was $32)

For those who have been wearing the same pair of these since 2002, they’re on sale for $26. Not to say it’s the same pair from 23 years ago that you bought at Sears, but it’s best to update these every so often. You don’t have to hang on any longer.

Rockport Darwyn Xband Slide Sandal, $45 (was $80)

Sometimes dressier sandals are required for beach weddings or summer lunch dates at restaurants where flip-flops won’t cut it. These are, by far, the nicest-looking men’s leather sandals available on sale during Amazon Prime Day. They use a cross-strap design to securely cradle the foot atop a cushioned footbed and shock-absorbing sole.

Chunky-sole running shoes are a huge thing right now, and feet couldn’t be happier. The Saucony Tempus employs a double foam sole that adds more shock absorption and promotes bounce mid-gate. This also means lighter shoes — under 9 oz., to be exact.

Asics Gel-Venture 8 Running Shoes, $40 (was $70)

One of the most trusted brands in running, Asics is offering the Gel-Venture 8 for $40 in several color options. The Gel-Venture 8 is a fantastic neutral runner that’s fit for most foot types and offers durable upper construction to help prevent blisters. This is one of the best values to find among men’s running shoes during Prime Day.

New Balance Fresh Foam 680 V7 Running Shoe, $47 (was $80)

We wholeheartedly recommend making this your everyday walking shoe because it’s just so cool looking.

Salomon Speedcross 5 Trail Running Shoe, $110 (was $140)

For a more technical running shoe, Salomon is setting the pace during Prime Day. The brand’s hype isn’t just due to fashion trends, the products speak for themselves. This Salomon trail runner is a few spikes shy of being cleats — the traction is insane. The brand designed the sole of this shoe with deep-cut lugs that tear into soft earth but have the strength to handle the messiest terrain.

Amazon Deals on Men’s Casual Sneakers

Hey Dude Men’s Wally Funk, $42 (was $60)

The Hey Dude brand has exploded in the last 18 months; seeing the shoes in public is slowly becoming Allbirds-type common. But unlike Allbirds, they’re a fraction of the price. Boat shoes, as well as the Sperry brand, are synonymous with summer footwear. Right now, Sperry is cornering the men’s boat shoe deals during Prime Day with the Leeward 2 boat shoe. This classic tan leather boat shoe gets more comfortable as it’s worn, molding to the outer contours of your feet. 

Crocs LiteRide 360 Clogs, $26 (was $60)

How about some Crocs that look like they’re designed for adults? Though that might sound like an oxymoron, the Crocs LiteRide 260 Clogs are far more subdued and look dangerously comfortable. With an ideal ankle-height shaft, a thoroughly treaded sole, and waterproof fabric, this is a super-value pick that leaves feet happy after hours on foot. 

Florsheim Chalet Cap Toe Boot, from $81 (was $135)

Florsheim shoes have been worn by men for generations and are renowned as a go-to footwear staple. That includes the Chalet Cap Toe Boot. This classic brown inside-zip boot could turn into a four-time-per-week shoe for offices with a business casual dress code and will keep feet happy with an Ortholite insole.
