Since 1932, seaside Laguna Beach has been the home of the world-renowned Festival of Arts Fine Art Show. Now through September 1, 2023, locals and visitors can view the work of 120 award-winning artists.

This professionally juried fine art show features paintings, sculpture, photography, ceramics, and jewelry from artists around Orange County. Through the years, many pieces have been featured in the private collections of leading art collectors, celebrities, and museums around the world.

“The Festival is the perfect place to find affordable and unique art treasures for your home or business,” says Marketing and Public Relations Director Sharbie Higuchi.

In addition to the variety of artwork, the Festival of Arts offers a wide range of daily activities that includes nightly live music, guided art tours, art workshops, weekly Concerts on the Green series, and Pageant of the Masters.

The Pageant of the Masters is performed nightly until September 1, 2023. The star-lit amphitheater sets the stage for the Pageant of the Masters ‘Art Colony: In the Company of Artists.’ Celebrating its 90th anniversary, the ‘living pictures’ appear onstage and in areas surrounding the stage.

“The Festival of Arts Fine Art Show has something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re an art aficionado, a music lover, or simply looking for a fun artful experience, the Festival has it all,” said Higuchi. “Explore the stunning artwork by talented artists, enjoy live music performances, and participate in interactive workshops suitable for all ages. Join us this summer and discover the perfect blend of creativity, entertainment, and community.’

Free art tours are held Monday through Thursday at 4:30 p.m. and Friday through Sunday at noon and 4:30 p.m. The tour allows attendees to meet artists and learn firsthand about their inspiration and techniques.

On the property, there are two dining destinations. Terra Laguna Beach is a full service, sit-down restaurant focusing on California cuisine with sustainable food practices. The menu utilizes farm stand fresh ingredients and artfully crafted meals in an al fresco setting.

The more casual grab-to-go concession stand Intermission by Terra allows patrons to purchase food, drinks and snacks on the Festival grounds.

Festival attendees can support the arts by purchasing themed ‘All Together Now’ artwork at the Art-to-Go Exhibit below Terra Laguna Beach restaurant. The art is donated by Festival artists, and sale proceeds benefit The Artists Fund at the Festival of Arts.
