Jaisalmer: With 1.22 lakh Jan Aadhaar families out of the total 1.98 lakh in Jaisalmer district having been registered under Mukhya Mantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana till December 2022, the district has bagged the top position in this scheme in the state, followed by Dholpur, Chittorgarh, Bikaner and Jodhpur.
District collector Tina Dabi said Jaisalmer hogged the top position in the state in the ranking from April 2022 to December 2022. Package booking for the health insurance scheme at government hospitals of the district has been more than that at private hospitals, which has earned it a score of 92.76, she added. Families that have registered themselves in the scheme by paying Rs 850 each have a score of 43.38, said Dabi. Under the scheme, families get health insurance of Rs 10 lakh and accident insurance of up to Rs 5 lakh.
